10 Common Bird Pets
1. Canaries - Canaries are one of the easiest birds to have as

require a large amount of attention do to their solitary nature.

for the qualities of a parrot, but in a more gentle bird. These birds have a very gentle disposition
and soft, quiet calls that are unlikely to disturb the neighbors.
3. Cockatoos - Cockatoos are great birds for someone that is
looking for a close companion. They are
very affectionate and love their cuddle time, but do require a great deal of
attention from their owners.
4. Doves - Doves are very mellow and good-natured, and they
also are big fans of people. Doves
rarely peck or bite and are very smart and social.
5. Finches - Finches are best suited for those who want to
love birds from afar. They get along
great with their species and have a beautiful song, but aren’t always keen on
too much human interaction.

tricks. They are very friendly birds
with great personalities.

of these birds is their ability to learn how to talk and mimic words and phrases,

9. Parrotlets - Parrotlets are small Parrots. They are quiet birds and great for people
living in apartments. They are also able
to repeat simple words and phrases similar to Parakeets.
10. Parrots - Parrots are a great pet if you are looking for a
social creature to keep around your home.
Be aware, however, that the noise level in your home will significantly increase
with a Parrot around.
